Welcome to our collective journey of health and fitness. I am so excited to share a strategy that keeps working women strong, healthy, and happy.
Life is fast-paced. If you don't take the time and put in the energy to accomplish your goals, they never seem to happen. When you have a full-time job and kids, sometimes days slip away. That's just life. My job in the healthcare industry and 7-year-old daughter keep me very busy. But that's no excuse for putting health and fitness to the side. No matter how busy your life is, you can (and should) make time for yourself. Moving and nourishing your body has so many benefits - not only physically, but mentally and spiritually. After transitioning to a healthier lifestyle, I've become a more energetic, positive, and vivacious version of myself.
That's not to say making that transition was easy. But every challenge is rewarding - especially when you have a community cheering you on.
My goal? To keep up and maintain balance in my life so I can grow as a mother and mentor.
I’m a divorced mother with a 7-year-old girl. As she explores the world, I want her to see what a strong, healthy, and confident woman looks like.
I’m not one for a fad diet or short-term wellness trend. In my mind, incorporating health and wellness should be sustainable and flexible. Before working with the program, I felt like I was just trying to keep my head above water. Between work, homework with my daughter, encouraging her interests and trying to find time for myself, my personal wellbeing was not the priority. Believe me, setting the time aside to go to the gym, find a sitter for my daughter, and optimize my workout was not only logistically complicated, but financially and emotionally draining.
Shifting my approach to wellness did not come naturally. I had to intentionally make myself a priority, which was incredibly challenging. Talking the talk is one thing, but putting ideas into tangible actions is easier said that done. But now that I have, there's no turning back.
My why is to continue on my path to optimal wellness while encouraging others to commit to themselves and their health. Transitioning from a Beachbody enthusiast to a coach gave me the tools and encouragement to incorporate accessible nutrition and fitness into my busy life. I love that the program caters to women who have a lot going on. And the community of wonderful women I’ve created through BeachBody? Priceless.
